Hello Buffington Cousins

Jeff & Evelyn Cowie, Neil & Lorraine Cowie, and Vicki Hadd-Wissler & Craig Wissler, your Buffington Cousins Reunion 2026 host committee, are eager to share the  details for the upcoming reunion in celebrated Williams, Arizona. Known as the Gateway to Grand Canyon National Park, Williams is one of the  towns located on Historic Route 66. The Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel, where our opening and closing events will take place, is located just a block away from downtown Williams. At an elevation of 6,765 feet in Williams, you can expect summer high temperatures of 82*F and lows around 54*F

We have a variety of engaging and memorable activities planned for our time together (Thursday, July 30th to Sunday, August 2) for details please see the Schedule of Events page (accessible from the hamburger icon in the upper left portion of this page), with time built in to visit, to explore and learn about the stunning and picturesque environs of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and northern Arizona. We start with a Welcome Dinner at 5:30 PM at the Grand Canyon Brewery & Distillery. After dinner we have a special treat in store. Award-winning Arizona travel writer and hiker, Roger Naylor will engage us with a presentation on the natural wonders of the area. The area is rich with outdoor experiences beyond the Grand Canyon, including Sycamore Falls,  Bearizona, Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, and Historic Route 66, which will celebrate its centennial in 2026.  You will have no shortage of things to do should you decide to come before the start of the reunion or stay a day or two after. Your hosts plan to arrive Wednesday 7/29.  Please visit this website occasionally for updates about the reunion.  Please carefully review the Schedule of Events and the Room Registration pages BEFORE completing the online Registration Form.
